If I had a penny for every time in my life I thought or spoke something negative about myself, I would be rich! And, I could have paid for therapy. 😊

I know I am not alone, I hear doubt sometimes from my clients.

Here’s the thing, it’s so important to understand that your subconscious mind responds to what you feed it. If you feed It things like ā€œThis is too hardā€, I’m not strong enoughā€, ā€œMy health will never improve,ā€ what do you think is going to happen? Hmmm, I wonder.

If you want to improve your health or achieve a goal, negative self-talk will absolutely stand in your way.

So, what do you believe is possible for you?

After losing massive amounts of blood and my week long hospital stay, I could barely walk from weakness, I had vision issues, joint pain, strange sensations throughout my body, tingling in my hands, feet and head, anxiety and panic attacks, respiratory problems and extreme sensitivity to a long list of things in and around me, just to name a few of the things I encountered during my year-long recovery period.

Bedbound, I had to decide what my future was going to look like. I had to fill my mind and body with positivity and possibility. I sat in bed, nurturing my thoughts.

What was I capable of? What needed to change? Could I do it?

I was (and am) capable of anything I set my mind to, just like everyone else.

So, the next time negative thoughts creep into your mind through the course of your healing journey, remember, YOU ARE THE CREATOR.

Feed yourself compassion, patience, perseverance, determination, and most of all, feed yourself positive thoughts that align with what it is you most want to accomplish.
